Director

Clare is an experienced research and innovation professional with over 20 years' experience leading successful research teams and projects for organisations primarily in the government, construction, housing, offsite manufacturing and business services sectors.

 

She led the Economics team at Experian. She then joined Robertson Group where she established their research team and R&D programme, harnessing funding to expand the programme and working with academia, innovation centres and other stakeholders to bring new ideas to the business.

 

Her expertise is in helping organisations understand and interpret future trends, customer research, product or service proposition development.

An MBA, she is an alumni of both Edinburgh and Strathclyde Universities.

Jyl is a business improvement professional with an outstanding track record of delivering and leading continuous improvement and transformational change across a variety of organisations and sectors.

Having previously held improvement and innovation roles at Motorola, ScottishPower, RBS Group and Direct Line Group. More recently Jyl has been providing business improvement and innovation consultancy to SMEs and large corporate clients in the Finance, Construction, Transport, Utilities and Professional Services sectors.

Jyl is a Lean Six Sigma Master Blackbelt who successfully combines her strong technical knowledge of structured continuous improvement methods with a passion for motivating individuals and teams to think creatively and innovate.

Her forte is facilitating innovation workshops, harnessing a wide variety of creativity tools and techniques to inspire novel ideas.
